Fund Accounting (Manager/Assistant Manager/Supervisor)
We're partnering with a global leader in asset management and fund services to hire across three levels of their expanding Alternative Funds team in Dublin. This is a genuine growth story, with real scope to progress, work on complex fund structures, and build relationships with sophisticated global clients.
What you'll do:
- Act as the primary senior point of contact for clients
- Take full ownership of timely, accurate NAV delivery and client service excellence
- Own root cause analysis and ensure remediation is fit for purpose
- Lead department initiatives and group projects, particularly around operating model improvements and efficiencies
- Manage resource planning across your team and partner with other teams
- Develop, coach, and motivate your people
- Build relationships with stakeholders, third parties, and functional groups across the business
- Review fund documents ahead of launches to identify operational risk
- Represent the business at Fund Board Meetings
What you'll bring:
- 10+ years in Alternative funds, including 3+ in a managerial capacity, ideally with some private markets exposure
- An advanced understanding of Alternative fund structures, domiciles, regulatory requirements, and performance calculations
- Demonstrable fund and fee documentation review and interpretation
- The ability to lead and execute change
Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting
What you'll do:
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients on accounting matters
- Ensure timely, accurate NAV delivery and drive query resolution
- Contribute to root cause analysis and make sure remediation is fit for purpose
- Train, coach, mentor, and motivate your team
- Review fund documents ahead of new launches and flag operational risk early
- Provide subject matter expertise to support new business
- Represent the business at Fund Board Meetings, presenting the Administrator's report
What you'll bring:
- 6+ years in Alternative funds, including 3+ in a managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of Alternative fund structures, fund domiciles, regulatory requirements, and performance calculations
- Demonstrable fund and fee documentation review and interpretation
- Proven coaching and mentoring experience
Supervisor, Fund Accounting
What you'll do:
- Review the fund's NAV for accuracy and timeliness
- Review expense schedules, income calculations, capital activity, and fund fee calculations
- Maintain and follow established controls throughout the NAV cycle
- Lead the preparation and readiness for new fund launches within your team
- Act as the initial point of contact for clients on fund accounting matters
- Supervise, train, and mentor analysts on core tasks, systems, and procedures
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years in fund operations with Alternative Funds experience
- Hands-on analysis of the trial balance, general ledger entries, and management and performance fee calculations
- Experience with closed-ended structures
- Confidence reviewing Limited Partnership Agreements, Offering Memoranda, and fee agreements
- A third-level finance or business qualification (desirable)
Common to all three roles:
- Experience on a fund accounting system, ideally Investran and/or Geneva
- Some private markets experience is a real advantage
- ACCA welcome but not essential, we care more about mindset than letters after your name
