Job summary

The Panel is seeking a seasoned Director of Mutual Fund Accounting (EMEA) & Strategic Client Operations in Dublin. You will lead a high-performing team to ensure NAV accuracy, client reporting, and AI-enabled delivery for a key client.

The role requires 15+ years in fund accounting operations, 10+ in mutual funds, and strong leadership in client-facing environments. You will collaborate with auditors, clients, and data providers to deliver best-in-class service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in fund accounting operations, incl. 10 years in mutual fund accounting.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily NAV calculation process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary client contact for KPIs, SLAs, product launches, regulatory updates, escalations, and governance.
• Lead operational improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce risk and align with strategic goals.
• Manage, mentor, and develop team members with regular performance reviews.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders on regulatory changes, process optimization, and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilitie

• Oversee the daily NAV calculation process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary client contact for discussions related to KPIs, service-level agreements, product launches, regulatory updates, escalations, and governance
• Lead operational improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and align with strategic business goals
• Manage, mentor, and develop team members, providing regular performance reviews and professional development support

Requiremen

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in fund accounting operations wiith min 10 years in mutual fund accounting
• In-depth understanding of fund accounting processes
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing team
• Proven experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with auditors, clients, and market data provider
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related disciplin
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
