Job summary

SEI Investments seeks a Fund Accounting / Fund Administration SME with strong alternatives knowledge to support onboarding of new clients onto our platform. You will lead requirements definition, data mapping and reconciliation from a fund accounting perspective, ensuring migrated data supports NAV production, investor servicing, and downstream reporting.

You will work hands-on with Geneva and Investran, perform ETL data migrations and partner with Technology and Operations to ensure readiness

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fund accounting and/or fund administration (ideally within alternatives such as private equity, hedge funds, private credit, real estate).
• Strong fund administration SME capability with client-facing experience—lead requirements gathering and align operating practices across stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Geneva and/or Investran (data structures, workflows, conversion considerations).
• Experience supporting conversions/data migrations, including ETL processes and reconciliation of large data sets.
• Working proficiency in SQL for data investigation, validation, and reconciliation support.
• Python (or similar) for data manipulation and automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) for reporting or workflow enablement is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of Transfer Agency operations and integration with fund accounting workflows during conversions.
• Strong alternatives accounting domain knowledge (fee/expense processing, valuations, capital activity).
• Certifications (CPA, CFA) are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the fund accounting and fund administration SME for alternatives conversions, ensuring migrated data supports NAV production and investor servicing.
• Lead data mapping and conversion requirements workshops with clients and internal teams.
• Design and implement robust reconciliation and control procedures to evidence completeness and accuracy of migrated data.
• Partner with Technology and Data teams to execute ETL activities from legacy systems into the target platform.
• Work across Operations, Product and Technology to ensure seamless platform adoption and readiness for BAU processing post-conversion.
• Communicate requirements, outcomes, and reconciliation sign-off clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proactively identify data, operational, and accounting policy gaps/risks early in the conversion lifecycle.
