Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a consultant for its Fund Accounting department in Ireland. The role focuses on reviewing NAV calculations, rollout of system enhancements, and providing feedback to stakeholders. It may be individual contributor or have one or two direct reports.

The ideal candidate has fund accounting experience or relevant operational experience, strong Excel proficiency, and excellent client-facing skills to deliver a best-in-class service.

Qualifications

• Previous fund accounting experience or relevant operational experience preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of Enterprise and related Fund Accounting applications.
• Strong client servicing and presentation skills; ability to communicate with clients.
• Experience with vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters) is advantageous.
• Ability to mentor peers and deliver training and development plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate systems testing within the team and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
• Mentor individuals and peers during projects and assignments.
• Represent the team in cross-functional process or project deliverables.
• Roll out new procedures in consultation with BPA/Team leaders/NAV Managers.
• Contribute to long-term strategy for the department.
• Maintain client service culture and ensure high-quality service.
