LINCOLN HEALTHCARE RECRUITMENT & TRAINING LIMITED in Dublin is seeking an entry-level Residential Home Young People Care Worker. The role is permanent full-time, 39 hours per week, located in Dublin 2.

Salary is €36,605 per year, with responsibilities spanning direct care, daily living activities, and support within a multidisciplinary team. You will assist service users with care plans, promote independence, and work closely with families and health professionals to ensure dignity and respect

Qualifications

• A QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Previous experience in care, disability, or mental health support is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and teamwork are essential.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care in daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Support Service Users with care plans and engage in meaningful social, recreational, and educational activities.
• Encourage independence and assist with meals, nutrition, and hydration.
• Safely use equipment and aids per care plans (hoists, wheelchairs, walking frames).
• Offer emotional support, accompany to appointments and community activities.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to maintain a supportive environment.
