Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour in Malahide is hiring a full‑time Kitchen Porter for daytime hours. You will keep the kitchen clean, tidy, safe and hygienic, wash crockery, assist with deliveries, and support the team to ensure a smooth running kitchen.

This on‑site role may include weekends. The ideal candidate is a team player, calm under pressure, flexible with early mornings, evenings, weekends and nights, and adheres to HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash crockery and utensils.

• Keep store areas neat and tidy.
• Provide porter support with deliveries.
• Keep waste areas clean and tidy, dispose of packaging, recycling.
• Provide porter support in areas controlled by Head Chef.
• Attend training to enable safe completion of duties.
• Carry out other duties as may be required.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited to come in to work every day and who’s ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges. This role is a full time position and may include weekends. Good flexibility is needed.

Skills Required:

You will help to keep a kitchen running smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe, and hygienic.

• Wash crockery and utensils
• Daily clean of kitchen areas
• Deep clean of kitchen equipment
• Keep store areas neat and tidy
• Provide Porter support with deliveries
• Keep waste areas clean and tidy, disposal of packaging, recycling .
• Provide Porter support in all areas controlled by Head Chef
• Accept training to enable safe completion of duties
• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time

• Comply within company dress and personal hygiene code that meets HACCP guidelines
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Have a valid work permit/visa
