Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established organisation within the disability support sector, for Health Care Assistants to join their team in Kildare. Our client provides residential and day services for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities and autism, supporting individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives within their communities.

Salary is €34,884 to €43,193 per year for a full-time role (40 hours per week), with Sunday and Bank Holiday premiums.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework, BA in Social Care Studies, or an equivalent qualification in Community, Health or Social Care.
• Have at least 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policies and developments at national and sectoral level relating to social care within disability services.
• The ability to follow individual support plans and work collaboratively to meet the ongoing needs of those supported.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full, clean driver's licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Responsibilities
