Job summary

Sardine is hiring a Full Stack Engineer for a remote-first role based in Ireland. You will bridge backend systems and user interfaces to help stop fraud in real time, with ~60% backend and 40% frontend work.

You’ll build data-intensive apps and graph-based tools for fraud analysts, owning features end-to-end at scale. Join a fast-moving team that values ownership and product-focused delivery, collaborating across Design, Data, Product and Account Management.

Qualifications

• Core technical stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, Go.
• Scale and data expertise with data-intensive applications.
• Pipeline proficiency in data modeling and production data pipelines.
• High-growth startup adaptability and independent execution.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from problem space to UX execution and iteration.
• Translate complexity to usable interfaces for analysts and users.
• Build and optimize graph systems to visualize fraud rings and enable fast searches.
• Collaborate with Design, Data, Product and Account teams to align engineering output with needs.
• Diagnose, triage and resolve bugs while delivering efficient, scalable code.
