Job summary

Realtime Recruitment is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our client in Dublin. You will contribute to modernising and evolving their digital platforms, with emphasis on migrating from Drupal/PHP to Azure-based, SaaS-driven solutions.

You'll work with Node.js, React, and APIs, shaping architecture and development practices while maintaining and expanding existing applications. The role offers opportunities to influence technology decisions and roadmap.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database and API development, alongside solid full‑stack development experience.

You’ll be working with existing Drupal/PHP platform while helping transition towards more modern, scalable Azure and SaaS‑based platforms.

About the Role:

You’ll be involved in developing and maintaining existing applications while helping to design and implement the next generation of our client’s digital platforms.

A key part of the role will be supporting the transition away from existing Drupal‑based frontend towards a more modern and flexible technology environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence architecture, technology choices and development practices as we modernise platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience with Node.js and React
• Strong database development and data‑handling skills
• Solid experience designing and working with APIs
• Experience with PHP and/or Drupal would be highly beneficial
• An understanding of modern cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
• Experience working with or transitioning to SaaS platforms
• A strong understanding of frontend development and modern web technologies
• The ability to work with existing systems while also helping to introduce and develop new technologies
• Migration Experience – A Big Plus

Experience in platform migration, modernisation or frontend transformation would be a major advantage.
