Job summary
European Tech Recruit is recruiting an experienced Automation Engineer to join a major pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Dublin. The role offers frontline automation support across Inspection and Packaging operations within a 24/7 environment.
The position involves troubleshooting and resolving automation issues, supporting PLC/HMI systems, and contributing to commissioning, qualification and lifecycle activities, while ensuring GxP compliance and collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering
Qualifications
- Degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronic or Controls Engineering.
- 2–5+ years of experience with automated control systems.
- Experience with Siemens and/or Rockwell PLC/HMI systems is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline automation support to manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation and controls issues.
- Support PLC, HMI and automated control systems.
- Investigate faults and drive issues to resolution.
- Support commissioning, qualification and lifecycle activities.
- Work with Manufacturing, Engineering and Maintenance teams.
- Ensure documentation and change controls align with site procedures.
