Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. in Galway is seeking a Front End Software Engineer to join the Experience Engineering team. You will design, develop, test, and support business-critical applications within a product delivery team.

You will work with Angular, TypeScript, and Signals, contribute to API-driven designs, and participate in CI/CD, observability, and production support. Mentoring duties and collaboration with product and QA teams are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related discipline.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong experience developing modern web applications and services.
• Experience delivering complex software solutions in large-scale environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools (GitHub Copilot) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical design discussions and solution development.
• Deliver high-quality software aligned with architecture and engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
• Support quality through automated testing and defect prevention.
• Participate in production support, issue investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Analysts and Quality Engineers to deliver commitments.
