Job summary

Generator Dublin is seeking a Front Office Crew Member to welcome guests and ensure the front desk runs smoothly with a relentless drive to wow customers at every touchpoint.

You will know the city, work with a close-knit team, manage cash, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Generator’s brand. EU work eligibility is required, with shifts across mornings and evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• Front office hospitality experience
• Experience using a Property Management System
• Able to work a mix of shifts (morning/evening) and weekends

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the guest journey and raise the bar for service
• Know guests and a passion for independent travel
• Be part of a team that embodies Generator culture
• Monitor social spaces, lighting, sound and temperature to reflect the brand
• Know the local area and advise guests on cafés, bars and attractions
• Comply with company policies including Fire Training, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
• Handle cash with accuracy and perform Close of Shift procedures

You'll find Generator Dublin in the hip Smithfieldneighbourhood, adjacent to the Jameson Distillery, just a short walk fromTemple Bar. The hostel’s open social spaces and café and bar, with itsreclaimed wood, exposed brickwork and original stonework, give the place anunruffled industrial feel.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Take ownership of the guest journey to ensurethat you continuously raise the bar and create a truly unique Generatorexperience
• Know your guests and have a passion forindependent travel and the road less travelled
• Be part of a great team within your department that get Generator and want to be themselves
• Monitor oursocial spaces, lighting, sound and temperature, to make sure they embody theGenerator brand and culture at all times
• Know yourcity, its cafés, bars and restaurants, its art, its music
• Ensure youcomply with all company policies you have been trained on, which include Fire Trainingand Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
• BeResponsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty
• Correctlyadminister the Close of Shift procedures every shift with 100% accuracy andconsistency
