The Metropole Hotel Cork is seeking a Full-Time Receptionist to join our team. You will welcome and register guests, provide a personalised reception and switchboard service, and ensure accurate documentation and smooth front-office operations.

We value experience in guest-facing roles, strong communication and IT skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. The role offers opportunities for development within our hotel group and relocation assistance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a guest facing role, preferably in a hotel.
• Good communication and IT skills.
• Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receive and register guests on arrival using their names.
• Maintain excellent reception and switchboard service at all times.
• Complete reception documentation accurately.
• Handle reservations in line with rate management and selling guidelines.
• Post all pay-in vouchers and ensure cash security.
• Maintain high levels of personal and work hygiene.
