Job summary

Centra is looking for a hands-on Food Production Supervisor to ensure the fresh food area operates efficiently and delivers high–quality products to customers in our store. You will lead a small team, manage rosters and budgets, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with Centra brand-values.

You will be fully HACCP trained, stocktake regularly and focus on customer service, product quality and waste reduction to build a loyal shopper base in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a team in a food environment is desirable.
• Fully trained in HACCP and food safety standards.
• Experience with rosters, budgets and cost control.
• Stocktaking and waste management experience.
• Customer-focused with a track record of driving sales and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Live Centra brand-values and lead the food production team.
• Cook, prepare and display fresh food throughout the day.
• Oversee smooth food production operations and quality.
• Carry out stock takes and compute cost price per product.
• Delegate tasks and ensure orders are finished to a high standard.
• Attend management meetings and drive continuous improvement.
• Train and develop staff in the food production area.
