Job summary

Darwin Hawkins is seeking a qualified finance professional to join a Dublin-based organisation undergoing growth and transformation. The role covers FP&A, cashflow forecasting, treasury and financial modelling to support strategic financing decisions.

You will work closely with senior leadership on sophisticated financial models and help automate planning, forecasting and reporting, in a hybrid setup with one day per week in Dublin City Centre.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 5+ years FP&A, financial modelling or treasury in a fast-moving finance environment.
• Advanced Excel with cashflow forecasting experience.
• Power BI and SQL or similar analytical tools experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in Financial Services or regulated sectors beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain and enhance the Group's integrated cashflow forecasting model.
• Support liquidity forecasting, debt management and financing analyses.
• Develop sophisticated financial and scenario models for decision-making.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Analyse cashflow variances and provide insights to leadership and boards.
• Leverage Power BI, SQL and analytical tools to improve reporting.
• Drive improvements across planning, data management and automation.
• Collaborate with Finance and external stakeholders such as banks and lenders.

• Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Banking or another highly regulated industry would be beneficial

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, this is an individual contributor role that will play a key part in strengthening the organisation’s financial planning, modelling and analytical capabilities. Responsibilities will include:

• Own, maintain and continuously enhance the Group’s integrated cashflow forecasting model, including budgets, reforecasts and strategic planning.
• Support liquidity forecasting, debt management, financing activities and analysis relating to the capital structure of the business.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial and scenario models to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning while analysing financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Analyse cashflow variances and provide meaningful commentary and insights to senior leadership, management teams and the Board.
• Utilise Power BI, SQL and other analytical tools to improve reporting, insight generation and forecasting accuracy.
• Drive improvements and automation across financial planning, modelling, data management and reporting processes.
• Work closely with Finance, wider business functions and external stakeholders including banks, lenders and advisors.
