Job summary

The Panel, an Ireland-based international manufacturing group, is seeking a Group FP&A Analyst to join its high-profile Group FP&A team. Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, you will drive insight into key performance drivers across the Group and partner with Head Office functions.

You will lead automation of management reporting, own budgeting and quarterly forecasts, support month-end, and contribute to strategic projects including M&A analysis and capex proposals.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA.
• 3+ years of industry finance experience; FP&A advantageous.
• Experience with Cognos, SAP, Power BI or similar tools.
• Analytical mindset with ability to challenge assumptions and explain clearly.

Responsibilities

• Improve management reporting packs through automation and data visualisation.
• Manage annual budget, roadmap and quarterly forecasts for Head Office, partnering with IT.
• Support Head Office month-end and monitor performance against plan.
• Help prepare monthly Group Executive presentations and Board packs.
• Partner with divisional finance teams to assess performance and trends.
• Deliver headcount reporting, benchmarking and cash flow forecasting and analysis.
• Follow up on corrective action plans with the business.
• Contribute to strategic projects, M&A activity, business cases, capital investment proposals and competitor/industry analysis.

• Manage the annual budget, roadmap and quarterly forecast cycles for the Head Office functions, partnering closely with IT
• Support the Head Office month-end and monitor performance against plan
• Help prepare monthly Group Executive presentations and Board packs
• Partner with divisional finance teams to assess performance and trends
• Deliver headcount reporting, benchmarking and cash flow forecasting and analysis
• Follow up on corrective action plans with the business
• Contribute to strategic projects, M&A activity, business cases, capital investment proposals and competitor and industry analysis

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA)
• 3+ years' industry finance experience, FP&A an advantage
• Experience with Cognos, SAP, Power BI or other planning and data analytics tools an advantage
• Analytical mindset, comfortable challenging assumptions and explaining details simply
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to business partner at all levels
• Highly organised and accurate, able to juggle competing deadlines
