Amwell is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team to support Sales & Marketing with monthly reporting, KPI tracking and annual budgeting. You will maintain financial models, analyze performance, identify trends and risks, and provide recommendations to drive business objectives.

The role requires 1–3 years in FP&A, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience with SaaS metrics and ERP planning tools. A collaborative, cross-functional mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in a Financial Analyst or FP&A role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred)
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills
• Understanding of Growth concepts such as ARR, retention, churn, CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC, etc.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, ability to self-start, and cross-functional team building skills
• Strong time-management and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability
• Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and Workday Adaptive Planning preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Sales & Marketing by partnering with key stakeholders across customer acquisition and retention.
• Analyze data and provide monthly variance insights for Sales & Marketing.
• Build and maintain dynamic financial models for forecasts, budgeting, and planning.
• PrepareSales KPIs (ARR, retention, churn) to monitor health.
• Maintain SaaS revenue forecasting model and highlight trends/outliers.
• Collaborate with FP&A on consolidated models.
