Job summary

Searchability® in Dublin is seeking a founding Software Engineer to own the platform from day one. You will work directly with the CTO, shaping architecture and delivering a full stack solution using React on the frontend and Python/AWS on the backend for a data-heavy, research-driven product.

The role requires building secure systems for sensitive data, with a strong emphasis on end-to-end delivery and startup mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Python experience.
• React in production environment.
• AWS in production environment.
• Startup or early stage experience preferred.
• Evidence of building end-to-end solutions from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Build the platform front end through to back end alongside the CTO.
• Develop the React front end for a technical, scientific user base.
• Design and build back end services and data pipelines in Python on AWS.
• Make architecture decisions for a product still early in its lifecycle.
• Incorporate security and sensitive data handling from day one.
• Collaborate with researchers to turn their work into a product.
