Job summary

Concern Worldwide in Dublin 2 is seeking an experienced Major Gifts Fundraiser to open doors, build trusted relationships and secure significant philanthropic investments.

The role focuses on growing funding from international foundations for Concern's humanitarian work, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and managing foundation partnerships across markets. This is a permanent full-time role with 50% hybrid work in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Ability to influence and coordinate stakeholders in developing foundation proposals.
• Proven track record in high-value fundraising and donor relations.
• Good understanding of International Development work.
• People management experience with at least one direct report.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic growth of foundation income across international markets.
• Build and manage foundation prospect pipelines and opportunities.
• Develop partnerships pitches and cases for support.
• Manage foundation funder relationships and reporting.
• Lead annual budget process for foundation income.
• Collaborate with internal teams for proposals and contracts.
• Ensure due diligence and risk assessments for partners.
• Identify and test new funding models with international funders.
• Represent Concern in external forums and meet potential supporters.
• Uphold Concern values and participate in emergency response when required.
