Job summary

Ace Express Freight is a long-established logistics provider in Ireland seeking a Warehouse Operative with forklift experience. You will perform order picking, packing, loading, unloading and scanning in a safe, efficient manner while maintaining records and adhering to company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ forklift experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Valid, in-date forklift license.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive "can do" attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy, fast paced environment.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• GDP and HAACP training, desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out warehouse duties including order picking and packing.
• Loading, unloading, and scanning goods safely and accurately.
• Complete paperwork promptly and maintain records.
• Perform pre-use vehicle and equipment checks.
• Report discrepancies and damages promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, hazard-free work area.
• Participate in training and adhere to policies.
• Promote a collaborative working environment.
