Job summary

Krispy Kreme UK & IRE Naas factory is seeking a Food Processing Shift Leader to head the doughnut decorating team on shift. You will lead a hands-on crew, ensure quality targets are met, and coordinate with managers to maintain smooth daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership, stamina for long shifts, and a proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement while keeping food safety a top priority.

Our Krispy Kreme Factory in Naas is the heart of our doughnut production in Ireland. It’s where our skilled Manufacturing and Logistics teams work together to make and distribute our delicious, freshly made doughnuts to stores and cabinets across the country every day. Located in Monread Industrial Estate, just off the N7, the factory is a fast-paced, collaborative, and exciting place to work — where every doughnut begins its journey to spreading joy.

At Krispy Kreme, our factories are more than just production sites; they’re like an open kitchen in a restaurant. You’ll find our teams crafting, decorating, and packing our world-famous doughnuts ready for our shops, supermarket partners, and fresh delivery routes.

We’re on the lookout for a Food Processing Shift Leader to join our team and help lead the way in doughnut perfection. As a Shift Leader in our doughnut decorating team, you'll run the shift on the shop floor, support your team, and help ensure every single doughnut meets Krispy Kreme’s gold standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and support the processing team during your shift.
• Production Oversight: Ensure targets are met while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Doughnut Preparation: Mix, decorate, fill, and box fresh doughnuts to specification.
• Food Safety & Hygiene: Maintain top-tier food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Operational Collaboration: Collaborate with managers to improve daily operations and shift handovers.
• Training & Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

What We’re Looking For

• Leadership Experience: Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a food or production setting.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable with physically active, on-your-feet work.
• Problem-Solving Skills: A calm, focused problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work across the full shift rota, including weekends.
• Team-Oriented: Reliable, positive, and motivated by teamwork and results.

Shift Details

Varrying shift times:

16:00 to 1:00 and 17:00 to 2:00 and 16:00 to 4:00

Addtional pay:

1 euro extra/ hour between midnight and 6am.

Shift Days:

you must be fully flexible to work any day Monday to sunday on a full time basis
