Job summary

Cpl Group in Ireland is seeking three experienced Maintenance Technicians for a high‑volume food production facility in Naas, Co. Kildare.

The role covers maintaining, improving, and installing equipment across production and packaging areas, in a 24/7 operation with day shift options. You will join a multi‑skilled engineering team to ensure plant reliability, safety, and efficiency, support CI initiatives, and participate in planned shutdowns.

Qualifications

Recognised Electrical, Electronic, or Automation qualification (essential).
3–5 years’ experience in a medium-to-high-speed manufacturing environment.
Experience with PLC, SCADA and Industrial IT systems (Siemens desirable).
Experience using CMMS systems for planning, recording, and tracking maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimise downtime.
Perform statutory and electrical compliance checks, and support planned shutdown maintenance.
Record all maintenance activities using CMMS and ensure accurate reporting and traceability.
Identify and implement improvements to PM schedules and asset care routines.
Support capital and engineering projects as required.
Work with Production and Engineering teams to optimise performance, yield and reliability.
