Job summary

The Central Bank of Ireland is recruiting a Compliance Associate on a specified purpose contract for 21 months in the IGD Division. This role aligns with the Bank Executive grade, with new entrants starting on Point 1 of the relevant salary scale; the starting salary is €39,042.

The role supports FOI obligations and compliance with duties such as the Official Languages Act, Ethics and Complaints. It involves monitoring FOI processes, drafting management reports, and fostering stakeholder

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar operational role.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Professional integrity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of SharePoint and Excel would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Irish would also be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct administrative tasks to support the FOI team, including monitoring shared inbox and FOI SharePoint site; respond to information requests in accordance with policy and FOI Act.
• Undertake analysis or draft reports for management review.
• Support the Complaints Officer in coordinating the complaints handling process and responding to non-complaints queries.
• Assist Governance with the OLA Framework and liaise on breaches and annual compliance reporting.
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships across divisions to deliver objectives and promote collaboration.
• Support the division with operational and administrative obligations, including executive reporting and procurement via SAP.
