Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a busy site, ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety, and supervise a team of cleaners.

You will organise rosters, oversee training on products and duties, manage stock levels and timesheets for payroll, and act as the primary client contact while maintaining accurate records. The role offers opportunities for development and a competitive salary with rewarding benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisory role.
• Good working knowledge of English.
• Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Act as a point of contact for the client, handling queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Excellent Personality and Customer Service Skills.
• Maintain accurate records, including stock control, equipment checks, and reporting.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

At BAM we are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Dublin City Centre.

Making Possible

• Organising employee rosters ensuring sufficient cover in all areas.
• Ensuring correct and thorough training is given to all employees on the cleaning products and duties.
• Ensuring correct levels of stock are held and replenished when minimum levels arise.
• Ensure that all weekly and monthly timesheets are collated and returned by the appropriate deadlines and as per payroll Instructions.
• Adhere to all company policies & procedures.
• Participate in performance reviews.
• Keep accurate records in relation to all aspects of work and prepare reports as required.
• Carry out Health and Safety Audits.
• Have a flexible approach to work in response to business change, development and review of best practices.
• Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required or requested by the Facilities Manager.
• To supervise the current team of cleaners ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site.
• To use the appropriate equipment, materials, tools and machinery to ensure the job is done effectively.
• Deal with all staff performance, disciplinary issues in line with company procedures.
• Manage the roll out of specialist cleaning where requested by the site.
• Supervise, train, and support a team of cleaning operatives across a busy site.
