Job summary

The Quays in Galway is seeking an experienced Floor Operations Manager to run the Front of House during evening and late-night service, ensuring a smooth, safe, and immersive experience for guests and staff.

You will oversee crowd flow, licensing compliance, and liaise with sound/stage teams to keep the night running on schedule. Irish hospitality experience essential.

Contract Type full-time with a €26.00 hourly rate. Location: Quay Street, Galway.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a supervisory/management role in Irish hospitality or nightlife.
• Irish Hospitality Experience essential.
• Public Relations or Marketing experience desirable.

We're looking for an experienced Floor Operations Manager to run the Front of House at one of Ireland's most iconic late-night bar and live music venues. The Quays in Galway is a landmark late-night bar right in the heart of the Latin Quarter, famed for its Irish hospitality experience and as one of the city's most iconic music venues.

You’ll oversee front-of-house operations during evening and late-night service, ensuring a smooth, safe, and immersive experience for guests and staff.

About The Role

• Oversee crowd flow, capacity, and licensing compliance, especially during live sets
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment indoors during live performances
• Liaise with sound/stage teams to keep the night running on schedule
• Assist with end-of-night reporting

Requirements

• Irish Hospitality Experience essential
• Public Relations or Marketing experience desirable
• 5+ years in a supervisory/management role in Irish hospitality or nightlife
• Strong leadership under pressure, good judgment with difficult situations
