Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Hydraulic Modeller to shape flood resilience across Ireland. You will develop hydraulic models for major flood risk projects, collaborate with water and public sector clients, and help deliver innovative solutions to reduce flood risk.

The role offers hybrid working, career development toward Chartership, and a collaborative culture focused on delivering high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree, Master's, or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience developing 1D/2D hydraulic models for river/urban/coastal flooding.
• Knowledge of Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, InfoWorks ICM, or HEC-RAS.
• Hydrological assessment experience and ability to review modelling outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply hydraulic modelling solutions on major programmes.
• Lead 1D/2D modelling projects and review outputs for clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality reports.
