Job summary

Curative Care in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support adults with disabilities across four locations. The role includes assisting with daily activities, caregiving, and documentation, with a focus on customer service and safety.

The position is a float role across sites; valid Wisconsin driver's license required; mileage reimbursed. Training and benefits are provided, including almost 4 weeks of PTO.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Hmong, or sign language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and facilitation of activities for individuals with disabilities and document goals.
• Accompany individuals on outings and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow infection control procedures.
• Record changes in condition and communicate with supervisor.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
