Europcar Mobility Group in Ireland seeks a General Operative at our Cloghran location to join the Fleet & Logistics team. You will perform vehicle inspections, support fleet operations, and ensure efficient service with a focus on the customer journey.

A full clean driving licence is essential and the role includes early starts and a 5/7 roster. This position offers a clear path for career development within a global mobility company that values safety, teamwork and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must have full clean B driving licence.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• 40 hour working week, Monday to Sunday.
• Physical ability for bending, lifting and standing for long periods.
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Computer literate with good time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, fluent English.
• Second language is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge a plus (oil, tyres, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-rental inspections to ensure vehicles meet standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Audit vehicle quality inside and out.
• Deliver vehicles to airport terminals and offsite locations, maintain movement logs.
• Handle security and key management.
• Run fleet/stock checks and perform opening/closing duties.
• Execute on fleeting/off fleeting duties and tracker installations/removals.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct safety and maintenance checks on vehicles.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Prioritise health and safety for self and colleagues.
• Take on ad hoc duties as directed by management.
