Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Fixed Asset Analyst in Dublin to support capital expenditure analysis and fixed asset reporting. You will partner with hotel teams to ensure funding requests are fully supported and accurately recorded.

The role focuses on ensuring asset data integrity, lifecycle tracking, and delivering reports for stakeholders while identifying process improvements and opportunities for value add.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in a related field.
• Qualified/Partly Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
• IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with data analytic tools would be advantageous.
• Ability to work on own initiative while also being a good team player.
• Commercial mind-set and value-add focus.

Responsibilities

• Performance review of fixed asset projects, spend analysis and target review.
• Business partner linkage with hotel teams to support funding requests and accuracy.
• Maintain financial accuracy and integrity of controls within the capital expenditure function.
• Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses for funding requests.
• Monitor asset lifecycles from inception to end of life or disposal.
• Ensure accuracy of fixed asset calculations and generate stakeholder reports.
• Carry out ad-hoc reviews or project tasks as required.
• Assemble and disseminate data from internal and external sources to enable decision making and performance management.
• Identify opportunities or issues and contribute to process and performance improvements.
• Develop plans for implementing new processes and controls.
