BSS Building Staff Solutions Limited is seeking experienced Fitters for a project in South Dublin, Dublin. The role involves installing heavy railings, balconies, metal decking systems, and steel frames with attention to precise alignment and safety.

Ideal candidates will have proven balcony and metal fixing experience, own tools, and valid Safe Pass/Manual Handling. Sub-trades with related steelwork experience are welcome to apply for this site-based assignment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in balcony fixing, metal fixing, cladding, or steel erection desirable.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling training are required.

Responsabilités

• Fit heavy railings, balustrades and balconies; install metal decking systems.
• Install balcony steel frames, brackets and structural components.
• Carry out bolting, drilling and mechanical fixing.
• Set out, level and align steelwork accurately.
• Install balcony floor and decking systems and handrails.
• Carry out general steelwork finishing and fixing.
• Read and work from construction drawings, plans and measurements.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Job Title: Fitters

Starting Rate: 24.17

BSS are looking for experienced Metal & Balcony Fixers / Installers for a project in Shankill, Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit heavy railings, balustrades and balconies. Install metal decking and balcony decking systems
• Install balcony steel frames, brackets, supports and structural components
• Carry out bolting, drilling and mechanical fixing
• Set out, level and align steelwork accurately
• Install balcony floor and decking systems
• Install handrails and balustrades
• Carry out general steelwork finishing and fixing
• Read and work from construction drawings, plans and measurements
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
• Work effectively as part of a team and meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• Candidate must have own impact drill, SDS drill, crowbar and 360 laser level, etc.
• Proven experience in balcony fixing, metal fixing, cladding, or steel erection desirable
• Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling
