Job summary

Shanire Limited in Ireland is seeking an experienced fitter to join our site team at Marshallrath, Dunleer, Co. Louth. You will read isometric and mechanical drawings and lay out piping systems.

You will measure and cut pipes with hand and power tools, assemble large bore piping, and install connections according to design specifications and safety standards. This is a full-time/contract role, 39 hours per week, with an immediate start and accommodation support near the site, suitable for

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in a similar fitter role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting isometric drawings and mechanical drawings specifications to determine layout and piping location.
• Measuring and cutting pipes to required length using hand and power tools.
• Assembling and fitting large bore pipe systems.
• Installing and connecting pipes and components according to design specifications and safety standards.
• Complying with safety regulations to prevent accidents and damage.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting Isometric drawings and mechanical drawings specifications to determine the layout, sequence, and location of piping systems.
• Measuring and cutting pipes to the required length, using hand and power tools, such as saws, pipe cutters, and grinders.
• Assembling and fitting large bore pipe systems.
• Installing and connecting pipes and components according to the design specifications and safety standards.
• Complying with safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries and damage to equipment.

Key Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
