Job summary

FORDE STEEL BUILDINGS LTD. seeks an experienced Structural Steel & Cladding Installer to support commercial, industrial and construction projects in Ireland.

You will install structural steelwork, fit cladding and roofing systems, and work from drawings while using hand and power tools safely on construction sites in varying weather.

• Experience in structural steel erection or cladding in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Structural Steel & Cladding Installer to work on a range of commercial, industrial and construction projects.

• Install and erect structural steelwork
• Install cladding, roofing systems and associated components
• Work from construction and structural drawings
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Work safely at height and follow safe working practices
• Work on construction sites as required, outdoors in varying weather conditions

Requirements

• Previous experience in structural steel erection, cladding, roofing or a similar construction environment
• Ability to read and understand construction and structural drawings
• Good understanding of safe working practices, particularly when working at height
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Good practical and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
