Jones Engineering Group in Damastown is seeking a Mechanical/Fire Protection Estimator to join our Fire Protection Division. You will contribute to tendering large-scale projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, participating in the full tender process from start to finish.

You will review documents, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, evaluate quotations, issue RFIs, and prepare progress reports for evaluation by the Group Estimating Manager.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure with strict deadlines.
• Capable of working independently and taking ownership of assigned tasks
• Excellent communication and time management skills essential.
• A strong analytical mindset with excellent negotiation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills especially in the use of Excel/GSheets/Bluebeam etc.
• Problem solving skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of estimation processes, ability to analyse information and historical data

• Prepare tender review & progress reports for evaluation with Group Estimating Manager.
• Handover of final estimates to Group Estimating Manager & Director.
• Attend meetings and site visits when required.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical/Fire Protection Estimator to join our team in the Damastown office. This position is within our Fire Protection Division. While prior knowledge of fire protection systems is not required, a solid understanding of mechanical equipment, materials, and related processes is essential.
