Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Fire Safety Engineering or similar.
• More than 10 years’ experience within a fire engineering consultancy or similar environment.
• Proficient in fire safety design, legislation and construction technology in Ireland.
• Experience managing multiple projects and delivering work to deadlines.
• Excellent report writing and technical communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Full driving licence and own transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver fire safety strategies from concept design through to project completion.
• Prepare high-quality fire engineering reports, assessments, and compliance documentation.
• Produce and review fire safety design drawings and technical deliverables.
• Undertake fire risk assessments, inspections, and surveys of existing buildings.
• Carry out site inspections and support BCAR compliance requirements.
• Review contractor proposals, material submissions, and design team documentation.

A highly experienced Senior level Fire Engineer is urgently required to join a growing multidisciplinary team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and varied projects across multiple sectors while developing your technical expertise and progressing your career within a highly respected engineering environment.

You will collaborate with leading engineers, architects, and project teams on a diverse project portfolio including educational, residential, healthcare, commercial, industrial, leisure, and infrastructure across Ireland.

As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering fire safety strategies and technical solutions across all projects. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, design teams, and stakeholders while helping to mentor and support junior members of the team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver fire safety strategies from concept design through to project completion
