Job summary

Guardian Professional in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Legal & Compliance Specialist to join the expanding legal function. The role focuses on supporting a broad range of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters within financial services, payments, and fintech ecosystems.

The candidate should have a Law degree (LLB) and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong contract drafting and regulatory capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a legal, regulatory, or compliance role.
• Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience within financial services, payments, fintech, or banking is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (vendor, client, partnership, service, and confidentiality).
• Provide legal and regulatory support for financial services, payments, and digital assets.
• Conduct legal research and assess the impact of new legislation on business operations.
• Support regulatory projects, licensing, and corporate governance requirements.
• Maintain internal legal policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and cross-functional internal teams.
