Job summary

Conack is seeking a Finishing Foreman for a full-time, site-based role in South Dublin. You will deliver high-quality finishes, manage day-to-day site operations, and ensure safety and quality standards across remediation and conservation works.

A carpentry background is desirable. You should have strong leadership, experience coordinating labour and sub-contractors on large-scale multi-storey projects, and a keen eye for detail to ensure snag-free finishes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Foreman role on large builds.
• Strong background in site management and safety.
• Experience in remediation and conservation projects.
• Carpentry background is advantageous.
• Experience coordinating labour and sub-contractors.
• Proven ability to deliver snag-free finishes on schedule.
• Strong steel frame build experience in multi-storey sites.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Strong leadership and clear communication with teams.
• Team player who works well with others.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Contracts Manager and carrying out all duties as agreed
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality finishes across all elements of the project
• Managing and coordinating remediation and conservation works where required
• Overseeing day-to-day site management activities and maintaining programme schedules
• Implementing and maintaining the project quality plan
• Front-line management of all industrial relations matters
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and fulfilment of all contractual commitments
• Managing and implementing Workplace Health and Safety requirements (Safety Manuals)
• Coordinating labour and sub-contractors to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, particularly in finishing and detail-focused areas
