Job summary

Pivotal Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman for a project based in Dromoland, Co. Clare. You will oversee all finishing works on site, coordinating trades, maintaining quality standards and ensuring works are completed safely and on schedule.

As a permanent, full-time post with a reputable main contractor, you will work closely with Site and Project Managers, plan daily activities, inspect works and manage snags, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Finishing Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within construction
• Experience with a main contractor is desirable
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage site priorities
• Relevant construction qualification or trade background is desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate finishing trades to ensure high standard of works
• Manage subcontractors and site personnel to run finishing activities efficiently
• Plan and monitor daily and weekly works in line with project deadlines
• Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager for smooth site operations
• Inspect completed works for conformity with drawings, specifications and quality standards
• Identify, manage and close out snags and defects in a timely manner
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations
• Coordinate materials, labour and site resources to avoid delays
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily progress reports and site diaries

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all finishing works on site, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining quality standards and ensuring works are completed safely and on schedule.
