Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd. seeks a Finishing Foreman for a Wicklow-based residential development. You will run from 1st fix to handover, reporting to the Contracts/ Site Manager and coordinating with the site team and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include programming, site diary, labour allocation, plant control, subcontractor coordination, safety and quality. Requires 5 years foreman experience and carpentry background preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years as General/Finishing Foreman on large residential projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work to strict schedules and coordinate labour.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily and weekly programmes and share details with sub-contractors.
• Attend weekly construction management meetings.
• Maintain site diary with manpower and notes on activities.
• Compile labour allocation sheets.
• Assist with plant/equipment control on site.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors.
• Ensure work meets high standards.
• Address health and safety issues on site.
• Motivate labourers and subcontractors.

Finishing Foreman

Location:- Wicklow (3 - 4 yrs work in Wicklow)

Salary: €70K - €80K + Package.

Finishing Foreman opportunity for one of Ireland's leading Developers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project from 1st fix to handover while reporting to the Contracts Manager and or Site Manager and working closely with the Site Team Members and Sub-contractors.

Role:

• Implementation of daily and weekly programmes together with the issue of programme detail to sub-contractors.
• Attending weekly management team meeting for the Construction team.
• Maintaining the site diary - recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities.
• Compiling labour allocation sheets.
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site.
• Co-ordinating and managing subcontractors.
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards.
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site.
• Ability to motivate labourers and sub-contractors.

Requirements:

• 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience on large scale residential projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work to strict schedules
• Preferably come from a time served carpentry background
