Job summary

3D Personnel is seeking an experienced Finishing/General Foreman for a Wicklow project. You will lead the site team from 1st fix to handover, report to the Contracts Manager/Site Manager, and liaise with subcontractors to drive programme delivery.

The role requires a background in carpentry, 5+ years as a foreman on large residential schemes, and strong interpersonal skills to manage tight schedules and safety on site.

Qualifications

• 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience on large scale residential projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work to strict schedules.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily and weekly programmes and issue details to sub-contractors.
• Attend weekly management team meetings for the Construction team.
• Maintain the site diary with manpower levels and detailed notes of site activities.
• Assist with control of plant and equipment on site.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors on site.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards.
• Address health and safety issues on site and enforce compliance.

Job description

Location:- Wicklow (3 - 4 yrs work in Wicklow)

Finishing Foreman opportunity for one of Ireland's leading Developers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project from 1st fix to handover while reporting to the Contracts Manager and or Site Manager and working closely with the Site Team Members and Sub-contractors.

Role:

• Implementation of daily and weekly programmes together with the issue of programme detail to sub-contractors.
• Attending weekly management team meeting for the Construction team.
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities.
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site.
• Co-ordinating and managing subcontractors.
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards.
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site.
• Ability to motivate labourers and sub-contractors.

Requirements:

• 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience on large scale residential projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work to strict schedules
• Preferably come from a time served carpentry background
