Job summary

3D Personnel in Galway is seeking a Finishing Foreman to oversee the day-to-day running of a large-scale project from 1st fix to handover, reporting to the Contracts Manager and Sr Site Manager. You will lead the on-site team and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery on site.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of General/Finishing Foreman experience, strong communication skills, and a carpentry background.

Qualifications

• 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience on large scale project.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work to strict schedules.
• Preferably come from a time served carpentry background.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of daily and weekly programmes together with the issue of programme detail to sub-contractors.
• Attending weekly management team meeting for the Construction team.
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities.
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site.
• Co-ordinating and managing subcontractors.
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards.
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site.
• Ability to motivate labourers and sub-contractors.

Location:- Galway (Ongoing / Long term work)

Finishing Foreman opportunity for one of Ireland's leading Main Contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible along with the site team for the day-to‑day running of the project from 1st fix to handover while reporting to the Contracts Manager and or Sr Site Manager / PM and working closely with the Site Team Members and Sub-contractors.
