Job summary

Fideuram Asset Management Ireland (FAMI) seeks a Financial Risk Manager to join the Risk Management team in Dublin. This is a senior role within a top-tier asset manager, collaborating with investment teams and senior management.

You will monitor fund risk levels, perform attribution and scenario analysis, improve risk processes and automation, and produce regular reports for investment managers and executives. English fluency required; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years of experience in financial risk management.
• Good knowledge of market risk, performance attribution and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel, VBA and SQL; Bloomberg and Aladdin experience are a must; Python is a plus.
• Ability to run analyses on large data sets.

Overview

The Company is seeking a Financial Risk Manager within the Risk Management team. Based in Dublin, this is an exceptional job opportunity with a top-tier asset management company working closely with the business.

What you'll be doing

Key responsabilities will be:

• Monitor fund risk levels against the agreed risk profile and escalate critical situations
• Risk, performance attribution and scenario analysis Address any data quality issues with the relevant service providers and with IT
• Discuss the problematic situations and define action plans with the investment managers and with the senior management, as needed
• Produce regular reports for the investment managers and for the senior management
• Contribute to the improvement of the risk management processes, systems and documentation
• Improve the automation of tasks and processes

Who we are looking for

If you want to turn your passion into a career and you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in financial risk management
• Good knowledge of market risk, performance attribution and scenario analysis
• Quantitative oriented degree; FRM or PRM qualifications will be considered preferential
• Good Excel, VBA and SQL skills; experience with financial software (e.g., Bloomberg) and experience with risk software (e.g., Aladdin) are a must; Python skills will be considered preferential
• Able to run accurate analysis on large data sets
• Languages: English is essential, Italian is an advantage
• Candidates with less experience may also be considered if they have a strong relevant background.
