Job summary

Fideuram Asset Management Ireland (FAMI) seeks a Financial Risk Manager to join the Risk Management team in Dublin. This is a senior role within a top-tier asset manager, collaborating with investment teams and senior management.

You will monitor fund risk levels, perform attribution and scenario analysis, improve risk processes and automation, and produce regular reports for investment managers and executives. English fluency required; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years of experience in financial risk management.
• Good knowledge of market risk, performance attribution and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel, VBA and SQL; Bloomberg and Aladdin experience are a must; Python is a plus.
• Ability to run analyses on large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fund risk levels against the agreed risk profile and escalate critical situations.
• Risk, performance attribution and scenario analysis.
• Address data quality issues with the relevant service providers and with IT.
• Discuss problems and define action plans with investment managers and senior management.
• Produce regular reports for investment managers and senior management.
• Contribute to improvement of risk management processes, systems and documentation.
• Improve automation of tasks and processes.
