Job summary

American International Group (AIG) is seeking a Financial Lines Underwriter to underwrite new and renewal Financial Lines business, manage broker relationships, and support reporting within the team. You will contribute to the profitability and growth of the Financial Lines Profit Centre by applying sound underwriting judgment and market knowledge.

The role emphasizes collaboration with brokers, timely communications, and delivering quality service while upholding regulatory and risk management

Qualifications

• Ideally, some Financial Lines underwriting experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal Financial Lines business within approved standards.
• Develop and maintain broker relationships to source opportunities.
• Provide accurate monthly reporting on submissions, bind rate, premium and counts.
• Support broker network with product information and training as needed.
• Collaborate with PCM and sales teams to execute the sales plan.
