Job summary

American International Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced SME Underwriter to manage online underwriting, renewals and referrals, while supporting new product development and deployment.

You will liaise daily with brokers to uphold service standards, build sustainable relationships, and ensure compliant processes in a busy Dublin office environment. This role emphasizes inclusion and career development within a leading global insurer.

Qualifications

• SME underwriting experience required.
• Ability to work in a busy team and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft 10 applications.
• Progress towards Minimum Competency Requirements as set by the Financial Regulator.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business, MTAs, referrals and renewals from the online platform.
• Assist and test new product development and deployment.
• Manage systems for servicing and maintaining the Profit Centre’s book and liaise with brokers to ensure service standards.
