Job summary

AIG in Dublin is seeking an experienced insurance underwriter to manage profitable new business, MTAs, referrals and renewals through our online platform. You will test new product development and deployments and ensure high service standards across the Profit Centre's book of business.

You will build sustainable relationships with brokers and maintain daily communication by email and phone, ensuring compliance and timely renewals while working in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in online open market SME underwriting.
• Ability to work in a busy team and meet strict deadlines.
• Progress towards Minimum Competency Requirements as set out by the Financial Regulator.

About the role

What you need to know:

• The profitable underwriting of all new business, MTA's, referrals and renewals generated from and through our on-line platform including assisting and testing new product development and deployment.
• You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining all systems associated with the efficient servicing and maintenance of the Profit Centre's new and existing book of business and liaising with all our partners to ensure our high level of service standards are continuously maintained.
• Building a sustainable relationship with our brokers based on service, trust and integrity is key to the role and you will be in constant daily communication through email and by phone with brokers delivering these qualities.

What we're looking for:

• Previous online and open market SME underwriting experience.
• Ability to work in a busy team and meet strict compliance and renewal deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft 10 applications.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, both internally and externally.
• Progress towards Minimum Competency Requirements as set out by the Financial Regulator and any amendments there to.
