Job summary

Croom Group Assets Ltd, an owner-led Irish group spanning manufacturing, property investment and residential development, is seeking a Finance Director to influence where the business goes next. You will report to the owners and shape a finance function with strong controls and commercial insight.

Joining an established team within Croom Concrete Ltd, you will partner on strategy, budgeting and medium-term planning, while driving cash flow, risk management and performance insights across

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Financial Controller / Finance Director experience, ideally within manufacturing or a related environment.
• Strong practical expertise in costing, stock and work‑in‑progress valuation.
• Commercially curious, hands‑on and confident to challenge constructively and advise.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the owners on strategy, investment, budgeting and medium‑term planning.
• Own management reporting, costing, stock valuation and financial controls.
• Provide commercial insight on margin, pricing, product mix, contracts and operational performance.
• Lead cash flow, working capital, risk management and the development of the finance team and systems.
