Job summary

HireForce is recruiting on behalf of an established energy company in North Dublin for a Financial Controller to lead the finance function and a team of four.

You will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with Irish GAAP/IFRS. Strong leadership and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) are essential.

The role offers a clear path to strategic influence and process improvements, with a performance-related bonus and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Ideally with people management experience.
• Experience in the energy sector desirable but not essential.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of Irish GAAP/IFRS.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP or Oracle.
