Job summary

Autoboland Group is seeking a Newly/Part Qualified Accountant to support its financial management and drive business performance from Waterford. This on-site role offers progression into a Financial Controller position within the group.

You will manage financial controls, reporting, and collaboration with management and operations across multiple sites, with a clear path to leadership within the team.

Qualifications

• Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
• Experience in financial management within commercial, retail or multi-site environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in accounting software and dealer management systems.
• Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, oversight and management of the Group's financial and accounting activities.
• Prepare periodic financial analysis, management reports and performance reviews to support informed business decision-making.
• Work closely with senior management and operational teams to support efficient day-to-day business operations.
• Oversee key accounting functions, including creditors, debtors, cash flow management and reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and year-end audit processes.
• Maintain accurate financial, vehicle stock and associated records across the Group's dealer management systems.
• Assist in monitoring departmental performance, margins, rebates, commissions and warranty allocations.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting processes and operational efficiencies.
• Liaise with banks, finance providers, suppliers and manufacturer representatives.
• Provide financial support and commercial insight to management across the Group.
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required to support the evolving needs of the business

Autoboland Group is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Newly/Part Qualified Accountant to support the financial management and continued development of its business. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step in their career, with genuine progression potential into a Financial Controller position within the Group.

This is a fully on-site position based in Waterford City, Monday to Friday (five days per week). Applicants should currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Waterford City or be willing to relocate to the Waterford area.
