Job summary

Collen Construction is seeking a Financial Accountant in Dublin for a hybrid role. You will participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting, supporting the finance function and wider business units.

The role offers exposure across the entire finance function, with responsibility for management accounts, cost controls, budgeting, audits, and stakeholder reporting. Strong Excel, communication and organisational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA) is required.
• 2–3 years post-qualification experience is required.
• Experience in construction sector is a bonus but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced role across multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Highly organised, reliable, self-motivated and solution driven with autonomy and teamwork.
• Excellent written and spoken English for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of financial processes and controls and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare timely monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide analysis on departmental spends and partner with departments across the business.
• Assist with ERP and accounting system improvements for the region.
• Support annual budgets and forecasts for all entities in the region.
