Job summary

ACCPRO in Dublin seeks a Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team, offering hands-on exposure to daily accounting, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and close collaboration with the Financial Controller to drive accuracy.

This hybrid role (2 days work-from-home per week) pays €60-65k and covers accounts payable/receivable, month-end reporting, payroll support, and the preparation of management accounts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE.
• Experience in either practice or industry financial accounting preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail; commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily financial records including reconciliations, invoices, expenses, and revenue checks.
• Process supplier invoices and payments with timely, accurate records.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, tracking invoices and ledgers.
• Complete bank and cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end processes with journals, reconciliations, schedules, and reports.
• Assist with monthly management accounts preparation.
• Support payroll preparation.

Compensation: €60-65k basic

Our client, one of Ireland's most recognised and rapidly growing businesses, is seeking to welcome a Financial Accountant to their team. The successful candidate will get hands-on exposure to the full day-to-day finance engine while working closely with an experienced and supportive Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily financial records including bank reconciliations, invoice processing, expenses and revenue checks
• Process supplier invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy, timely payment and up-to-date records
• Manage accounts payable and receivable administration including invoice tracking, following up on missing documentation and maintaining accurate ledgers
• Complete bank and cash reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Support month-end processes by preparing journals, reconciliations, schedules and reports
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support payroll preparation

Key Skills

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE
• Experience in either a broad practice role, or industry financial accounting role is preferred
• Commercially minded, keen to be involved in the growth of a company
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
